After founding Menteath in 2019 with a small amount of money left to me by my Grandad, I spent years navigating the realities of building a niche premium brand across D2C, B2B, and international markets. From positioning and partnerships to regulation, distribution, and international trade, the journey taught me firsthand what it takes to grow a business in ways that are both commercially viable and deeply aligned with your values.

But somewhere along the way, I realised the future of business could not continue to be built on constant noise, endless consumption, and pressure to scale at any cost.
